Direct Spaces Release Notes 2026.2.3

ClosedRequirements

To ensure your users benefit from the newest features, enhancements, and fixes, we recommend that you upgrade to the most current release of your EMS product.

You now need the .NET Framework 4.8 on the application server.

You only need the latest downloads for any component since they are cumulative.

Migration from DS Classic

The DS Classic mobile app reaches end of life on July 31, 2026. After this date, you can no longer access the app.

To avoid disruption, ensure your organization transitions to the Direct Spaces mobile app before this date.

Component Summary

Space Availability Search

 

 

 

We redesigned the booking filter to replace separate date and time pickers with a single start time field (hour and minute). It supports autofill based on booking intent and aligns schedule view and floor map actions side by side.

The Availability grid opens at the selected time and includes a vertical start time indicator across room rows to make the selected time easier to see.
Floor Plan now clearly shows unavailable rooms so you can select only available spaces.

Booking duration now requires a minimum time when no hours are selected, preventing 0h 0m selections.

My Bookings and Search Results

Now displays clear page titles across devices and surfaces filters in a top button with an active filter count for easier access and adjustment.

Forms

 

View More option appears for relationships with larger record sets, with configurable thresholds to keep forms concise while allowing access to full lists.

Search and filters within related records allow faster access to relevant data, with configurable fields and filter options.

Login

Direct navigation to the sign-in page removes the extra step after entering the app identifier, and a Signing in message prevents duplicate login attempts during authentication.

Android Mobile App

Bottom toolbars now display correctly across booking views and dashboards without overlapping the Android navigation bar.
